ProductImporter

ProductImporter is a small, private tool run by Anya and Chris (anyaandchris.com), a Shopify merchant. It reads public product pages so their details can be prepared as draft listings in our own Shopify store.

What it requests

• Only individual product pages that a person on our team has chosen and pasted in. It does not crawl, follow links or discover pages by itself.
• At most one page every 6 seconds per website, and one request every 2 seconds overall.
• It honours 429 and Retry-After responses and stops asking a website that refuses it.

Identification

Requests are signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures, Ed25519). The public key is published at /.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.
